Information from LaPorte Police Department
LaPorte Police believe a man robbed the same LaPorte business twice within three days and are looking for leads on the suspect.
Police said an African-American male, about 5 feet, 8 inches tall, robbed Check Into Cash, 45 Pine Lake Ave. (Kroger complex), shortly after 5 p.m. March 19, 2018. He fled with cash before officers arrived.
On March 21, Check Into Cash was again robbed, this time at about 5:50 p.m., by a male matching the same description. He again fled with cash.
The robber never displayed a weapon or told store personnel that he had one, police said. He was wearing a black hoodie and a black ball cap.
